KIDSAPALOOZA...

9/12: KIDSAPALOOZA Band Concert for Pediatric Cancer 9/12/08 (Grouse Hall, Coplay PA)
About the Event Kidsapalooza is a musical fundraising celebration of life. This event features 5 musical groups and soloists who are donating their time and talents to help raise money for The Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley, Inc. (Billy Bauer Band, Ethan Cramer, Karen & Amy Jones, Sunsets North , Vose) All monies will be used to help provide quality of life and survivorship events and programs to children with cancer and their families right here in the Lehigh Valley. To request tickets via mail, request a form from kidspalooza@pcflv.org or 610-393-9215 and return your request in an envelope and please mail no later than August 28, 2008 to: Kidsapalooza PCFLV PO Box 42 Whitehall, PA 18052-0042 Ticket price is $20 and includes entry into the concert , a picnic style buffet, unlimited ice tea, lemonade or water as well as participation in a bonus raffle. Space is limited so pre-order tickets is recommended although tickets may also be sold at the door.There will also be a silent auction of various prizes during the night. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month In the United States, approximately 12,500 children under the age of 15 will be diagnosed with cancer. Still today, cancer kills more children than any other disease. Lend your support & increase awareness of childhood cancer. Did you know .... A gold ribbon is the symbol for childhood cancer awareness started by Gigi Thornsen, after losing her daughter to leukemia. She explained, “It is a precious metal, just as our children are precious.” Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley is a local NONPROFT organization which helps enable children with cancer to LIVE through Quality of Life programs and Long-Term Survivorship! www.PCFLV.org

It offers a brief history of the MR system, an overview of what the system looks like and how to register. We discuss eligibility determination, the types of supports and services the system offers, and how they are funded.
